In January, 2010, Haiti was struck by a 7.0 magnitude earthquake that led to the death of approximately 316,000 of its people. In response, Dr. Soleymani leaped into action — he donated generously to Haiti through the Red Cross, collected over 10,000 10-day doses of antibiotics, and made his way to Haiti to begin treating survivors.
